Edible & Medicinal Plant Walks
Please come join Maine forager and author Tom Seymour as he leads you along groomed trails in search of wild edibles. Tom will entertain you as he identifies various everyday plants that have medicinal or nutritional value. Water will be provided. 
The walking session will last approximately an hour and a half traveling a distance of about 3/4 of a mile. Please wear sturdy footwear! Meet at the Backshore Trailhead parking area along Indian Bar Road on Cape Rosier. (Off Route 176)

Pipes and Drums Session
Please enjoy an hour of pipe and drum sounds with a history lesson of the different instruments performing with beautiful Smith Cove as a backdrop. Scottish small-pipes and drums are the centerpiece of the concert performed by one man. 
Bring lawn chairs and blankets and meet on the beach at the end of 
Indian Bar Road on Cape Rosier, Brooksville

Secrets of the Family Burial Plot
Come join cemetery experts and DAR members as they relate the historical aspects of the original cemeteries, the family burial plot. Learn the secrets to the location, the stones, and the hierarchy of the layout. A lesson on grave dowsing will be offered and participants will have a chance to try for themselves the art of finding buried remains. Meet at the Backshore Trailhead parking area along Indian Bar Road in the park.

Inter-tidal Exploration Lab
Come join the Park staff and learn about the features and creatures on the shoreline and waters of Penobscot Bay. An hour long educational presentation will feature a hands-on experience suitable for all ages. 
Meet at the main beach area below park headquarters with proper foot-ware.
