The Next Step

Use circular saw on 3 sides. It will not cut all the way through the 8" square timbers

We use a reciprocating saw to make the final cut. Following the previous cuts keeps the final cut nice and straight

Using a Belt Sander on each end, we clean up any saw marks and rough wood.

The step has been fitted with metal rods inserted underneath and then lowered onto the wood below. We also use a waterproof adhesive to help hold the step in place.
